Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Yihook platform ("Service") operated by Yihook ("we", "us", or "our"). This policy supplements our Terms of Service and applies to all users of the Service.

By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.

1. Permitted Use

You may use the Service for lawful purposes, including:

• Creating AI-generated images and videos for personal projects
• Creating commercial content for e-commerce, marketing, and advertising
• Generating product videos and images for use on TikTok, social media, and other platforms
• Analyzing video content for creative insights and content strategy
• Enhancing video quality for personal or commercial use

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Generated Content complies with all applicable laws and the terms of any third-party platform where you publish content (including but not limited to TikTok's Community Guidelines and Terms of Service).

2. Prohibited Content

You must not use the Service to create, generate, or distribute content that:

2.1 Illegal Content

• Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Promotes or facilitates illegal activities, including drug trafficking, money laundering, or fraud

2.2 Harmful and Abusive Content

• Threatens, harasses, bullies, or intimidates any person
• Promotes violence, self-harm, or suicide
• Contains or promotes terrorism or violent extremism
• Constitutes hate speech targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics

2.3 Sexually Explicit and Exploitative Content

• Contains non-consensual intimate imagery (including AI-generated)
• Depicts or sexualizes minors in any way (zero tolerance)
• Contains obscene or pornographic material

2.4 Deceptive and Misleading Content

• Creates deepfakes or synthetic media intended to deceive, defraud, or mislead others
• Impersonates real individuals without their consent
• Generates fake news, disinformation, or propaganda
• Creates content designed to manipulate elections or democratic processes

2.5 Intellectual Property Violations

• Infringes on the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of third parties
• Reproduces protected works without authorization
• Generates content that misappropriates the likeness, voice, or identity of real individuals without consent

2.6 Spam and Manipulation

• Generates content for the purpose of spamming platforms or users
• Creates content designed to artificially inflate metrics (views, likes, followers)
• Produces content intended to manipulate platform algorithms in violation of platform policies

3. Prohibited Behaviors

In addition to content restrictions, you must not:

3.1 Technical Abuse

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Service
• Access or attempt to access systems, data, or accounts that you are not authorized to access
• Exploit bugs, vulnerabilities, or errors in the Service for unauthorized purposes
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service in ways that exceed reasonable human usage

3.2 Commercial Restrictions

• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our written permission
• Use the Service to build a competing product or service
• Use the Service outputs to train, fine-tune, or improve competing AI models
• Share your account credentials with others or operate shared accounts

3.3 System Integrity

• Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code through the Service
• Overload our infrastructure through excessive or abusive usage patterns
• Interfere with other users' ability to use the Service

4. AI-Generated Content Disclosures

When publishing AI-generated content created with Yihook, we recommend (and in some jurisdictions it may be required) that you:

• Disclose that the content was generated or assisted by AI where required by law or platform policies
• Comply with platform-specific rules regarding AI-generated content (e.g., TikTok's AI content labeling requirements)
• Do not present AI-generated content as authentic human-created content in contexts where such distinction is material

5. Enforcement

5.1 Monitoring

We reserve the right to monitor use of the Service to ensure compliance with this AUP. We may use automated systems and human review to detect potential violations.

5.2 Violation Handling

When we identify a potential violation, we may take one or more of the following actions at our sole discretion:

• Access to the Service will be immediately revoked
• Unused credits are non-refundable (see our Refund Policy)
• Generated content may be removed from our systems
• We may retain records of violations as necessary for legal compliance

If you become aware of any content or behavior on the Service that violates this AUP, please report it to us:

Please include as much detail as possible, including relevant usernames, content descriptions, and screenshots if available. We will review all reports and take appropriate action.

7. Third-Party Platform Compliance

Content generated through Yihook is often published on third-party platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and others. You are solely responsible for:

• Understanding and complying with each platform's terms of service and community guidelines
• Ensuring your Generated Content meets platform-specific requirements for AI-generated or synthetic content
• Responding to any platform-related disputes, takedown requests, or policy violations

We are not responsible for any actions taken by third-party platforms regarding content you create using the Service.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this AUP at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email or through the platform. Your continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

If a policy change would materially affect your existing use of the Service, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect.
