These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Yihook, operated by Perry Huang from Hong Kong SAR ("Yihook", "we", "us", "our"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Yihook platform ("Service").
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Description of Service
Yihook is an AI-powered video and image generation platform designed for TikTok e-commerce sellers and content creators. The Service allows users to generate UGC-style product videos, images, and related content using artificial intelligence models.
Features include but are not limited to:
- AI video generation (text-to-video, image-to-video)
- AI image generation
- HookReel automated video production pipeline
- Asset library management
- Credit-based usage system
3. Account Registration
3.1 Account Creation
You must create an account to access most features of the Service. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to update such information as necessary.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at support@yihook.ai.
3.3 Beta Access
During any beta testing periods, access may be restricted to invited users only. Beta access may be revoked at our sole discretion.
4. Credits and Payment
4.1 Credit System
The Service operates on a prepaid credit system. Credits are used to generate videos, images, and other content. Credit consumption rates are displayed on the platform and may change with notice.
4.2 Purchasing Credits
Credits may be purchased through the platform using supported payment methods (currently credit/debit cards via Stripe). All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise indicated.

4.4 New User Credits
New users receive complimentary credits upon registration to explore the Service. These credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
4.5 No Expiry
Purchased credits do not expire while your account remains active.
4.6 Refund Policy
Credits once purchased are generally non-refundable. Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion in cases of verified technical failures that prevented credit consumption. Refund requests must be submitted to support@yihook.ai within 14 days of purchase. We do not offer refunds for content that was generated but did not meet your expectations, as the generation service was duly performed.
4.7 Taxes
You are responsible for any applicable taxes arising from your purchase of credits. Prices displayed exclude taxes unless stated otherwise.
5. Acceptable Use
5.1 Permitted Use
You may use the Service solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may generate content for personal or commercial use subject to these Terms and applicable third-party platform policies (including TikTok's Community Guidelines and Terms of Service).
5.2 Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
- Generate content that infringes any intellectual property rights of third parties
- Generate non-consensual intimate imagery or content sexualizing minors
- Generate content promoting violence, terrorism, or hate speech
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems
- Use automated means to access the Service in ways that exceed reasonable human usage
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our written permission
- Use the Service to train competing AI models
5.3 Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you create using the Service and for ensuring that your use of generated content complies with all applicable laws, third-party platform policies, and these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of the input materials (images, descriptions, prompts) you provide to the Service ("Input Content"). By submitting Input Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your Input Content for the purpose of providing the Service.
6.2 Generated Content
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and full payment of applicable credits, you own the output content generated through your use of the Service ("Generated Content"). We grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, and commercially exploit Generated Content.
6.3 Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and content provided by us, is owned by Yihook and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our platform without our written consent.
6.4 Feedback
If you submit feedback or suggestions about the Service, you grant us the right to use such feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party AI model providers and platforms. Your use of Generated Content on third-party platforms (such as TikTok) is subject to those platforms' own terms and policies. We are not responsible for any actions taken by third-party platforms regarding content you publish.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
9.1 Service "As Is"
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9.2 No Guarantee of Results
We do not guarantee that Generated Content will achieve any particular commercial outcome, including but not limited to sales conversions, TikTok views, or platform approval.
9.3 AI-Generated Content
AI-generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies, artifacts, or unexpected results. We are not liable for any such imperfections.
9.4 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Yihook and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) your Generated Content.
11. Termination
11.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@yihook.ai. Unused credits are non-refundable upon voluntary account termination.
11.2 Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice and without liability. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or through the platform. Your continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Hong Kong SAR.
14. General Provisions
14.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Yihook regarding the Service.
14.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
14.3 Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce such provision in the future.
14.4 Assignment
You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
